Jackson Charles Wallace

Tuesday, September 12, 2006, Jackson Charles Wallace came out of his mother's womb. Even though he has existed for over 9 months, Tuesday was the day he made his entrance onto the grand stage of life. Emily had a wonderfully easy birth as God answered all of our prayers and is still showering us with blessing after blessing. What a wonderful God we have.

Charlie,

Congratulations!!! Julie and I are happy for you (if not a little jealous). By the way, please pray for Julie. She is extremely uncomfortable, and it looks like she won't be able to be induced until Wednesday.

Congratulations Charlie! Send Emily my best. Good pick on the name. Are you going to call him Jack or Jackson?

"Are you going to call him Jack or Jackson?"

Ha! That's the big question in the Wallace household, isn't it?! Congratulations again, you guys.

Thanks everybody.

Yes, the name is a sticking point. We have both always liked the name "Jackson." Jackson was my grandfather's name. He was Jack Wallace. I never knew him (he died when I was months old) so I always wanted to name my first son after him.

Emily also likes "Jackson" but is not a fan of "Jack." He'll prob be Jackson officially, but he will be "Jack" around the guys.
